It is tools down for the time being for Event Scene. Please be aware that the vast majority of the function venues in Adelaide listed on Event Scene have temporarily closed their doors. This means if you are taking some time for long term planning and send through your enquiry to a function venue, the chances are the staff will not be available to respond. Please be patient. When the venues are able to reopen (hopefully, hopefully, hopefully not too far down the track), someone will respond to you.
Unfortunately for the time being due to the COVOID-19 Pandemic, weddings, parties, events and corporate meetings have all been cancelled for the coming months. It is my understanding that where possible venues have been offering to defer events, and offering a credit for the deposits paid to be used for an event in the future. Unfortunately venues are not in the position to issue refunds.
It is a really devastating and stressful time for all of us in the hospitality and events industry. Many tears have been shed and sadly some businesses may not survive this. We also feel for all of the couples who have had to postpone their weddings on such short notice after months and months of planning.
As soon as the Government deems it safe to resume group gatherings, Event Scene will be back in the middle of it all helping customers discover the best private function venues, cocktail party venues, meeting rooms and wedding venues in Adelaide!
