Hidden away within the wider McLaren Vale Wine Region, literally amongst the vineyards, lies Aldinga’s secluded oasis: Down South Distillery.

Set against the famous Fleurieu landscape, with a backdrop of hills and vines, a family of distillers occupy the iconic site that was once Agostino’s.

For several years now, Down South Distillery has kept the doors of the former wine giant’s cellar door location open. From grapes to juniper, the liquid ambrosia of choice is now gin: gin flights, gin tastings, gin cocktails.

This charming location is the perfect place for a wedding and/or reception. The scenery does all the work, changing colours with the seasons.

Birthdays, work functions, farewells, retirement parties – they all work in this versatile space.

With the option to book the entire space out, or to reserve a section all to yourself, a choice of BYO and packages, there’s something to suit every taste and budget.
